Project Brief.
Frimley Hall Hotel
Upon first meeting the newly engaged Zoe & Chris at a wedding showcase for the hotel it became abundantly clear the general décor / styling of the hotel’s ceremony room really did not sit well with Zoe. The carpet was too busy, the curtains highly patterned, partition doors were too conference looking & the fire exit door at one end of the room created an unbalanced look & an unwelcome focal point.
We discussed the colour scheme and vision Zoe & Chris had in their minds – minimalistic, white, less conference looking & elegant were words which flowed – also please could you hide the carpet & curtains? Talking through various options & budget I was able to explain the trick is to dress the room in such a way so as to soften the overall look & disguise or conceal certain aspects of the ceremony room.
Covering the venue carpet would be costly – I was confident by introducing such a scheme would create focal points elsewhere in the room & thereby distract the eye away from the carpet. A budget WIN! With a mix of draping, LED Lighting & some help from our friends at The Chair Dressing Company we were able to create the vision Zoe & Chris had for their SPECIAL DAY!
